I'm Anastasia Marchenko. I design amigurumi patterns; you can find them at Faunula.

A pattern's shape is only really known once the first sample is crocheted. When a neck comes out too long or a body too round, it costs a whole make, and sometimes several. I wanted to see the toy before I pick up the hook, and to know that every round adds up.

That is what Loopsculpt is becoming: a pattern built in 3D, stitch by stitch, at the size its yarn and hook give, with every count checked. It is still in the making, and I'm trying it on my own patterns first.
